Orbiting Lives

They are described to be morphological, imitating blood cells with mesmerizing movement. They portray the illusion of movement through silent visual inquiry.

Mirage Series

The series investigates the fractal theory which was first founded by Benoit Mandelbrot and ponders the concept of reflection and what could potentially be controlled by man verses nature.

___________The attraction I have towards art has always been very difficult for me to translate through a single medium such as painting or drawing ______________

Into The Blue

It is an object that is out of this realm yet familiar. One can comprehend this organic form because the gestural movement that is present in it is found in nature. Nour sees this movement in the waves of the ocean and she feels it in the gusts wind. The viewers who do not visualize what Nour conveys might have seen or felt this movement, within the other mysterious realms that are existent in nature. This form may be considered alien to this planet because the earth that we live in does not consist of such eccentric living breathing things.

Rigid Isolation

This project is a metaphor for the human persona existing in a capitalist world. The metal symbolizes industrial commodities which we are embedded in. Shadows are representations of feelings that individuals carry in silence, yet can never abandon. The shimmers portray the ideal image that we are born into without question in a "X" era that we are innately a part of.

Fluid

A personal project dedicated to challenging traditional book design, by disregarding the generic design encompassing a cover jacket and page binding spine. The process was entrancing and allowed Nour to appreciate simple design and sculpture.
